Documentarul se numește „Fata de Aur” și arată povestea evoluției în lumea gimnasticii. În cea mai mare parte, documentarul se va concentra pe un anumit eveniment dramatic din viața gimnastei: pierderea medaliei de aur la Jocurile Olimpice de la Sydney din 2000.
Andreea Răducan a câștigat în 2000 medalia de aur la Jocurile Olimpice de la Sydney la vârsta de doar 17 ani și devenea campion olimpic. Medalia i-a fost însă retrasă după numai trei zile, fiind depistată pozitiv cu o substanță de dopaj care îi ajunsese în corp odată cu o pastilă de răceală oferită de medicul lotului înaintea competiției. Pseudoefedrina, substanța care se găsește în pastile convenționale precum Nurofen, pastila pe care de altfel o luase și sportiva, a dispărut de pe lista substanțelor interzise trei ani mai târziu, însă gimnasta româncă nu și-a recuperat titlul olimpic. După 15 ani, Andreea se confruntă cu cea mai dură luptă împotriva oamenilor care au înșelat-o în timp ce încearcă să-și recupereze medalia și, în același timp, demnitatea. Documentarul dezvăluie cealaltă parte a medaliei, trauma și eforturile, munca grea și durerea din spatele unei medalii de aur și a prestigiului unui campion”, spune descrierea oficială a documentarului.
